My Idea for the Structure Project

For my design, I originally sketched out a house because I couldn't think of anything else. But then it expanded to a castle with people and a dragon on top of it along with a moat. There are little windows on the castle to look inside of it and see multi-colored lights. How to get the lights to show up? I have no clue. When the sun hits a piece of acrylic, the light should bounce off and hit another piece of acrylic and so on. Does light even bounce off of acrylic??? I'd be happy settling with something similar to a kaleidoscope.

LED: Backpack

I'm a little late but, on Thursday (7/17), I learned about circuits and used it to trick out my backpack. It didn't work out so well because for some reason the little LED lights only occasionally light up. I'm guessing some of the strings that shouldn't be touching are touching.

Personal Project: Still Doll

I started out by sketching a basic concept. Then I used Adobe Illustrator to draw out the parts of the doll. I sent it to the Epilog Engraver to cut out the pieces out of wood, and used string and glue to join everything together. Originally, I designed my idea with the wooden doll holding a cage, but instead I used string to make a mini doll.
