The Heads on Fire Community

What happen yesturday? that's a good question. Well for starters  it was so hot in so many backrounds of people where in the fab lab yesturday it was weird. so we had to get our work in go to City Heights community libary it was very fun in it wasn't soloud. So soon after me in the group walked back to the lab and , me and junior got to make our own chairs. But tomorrow i'm going to fix it up alittle work.

First I would like to say interviewing someone not from the (U.S) in entertainging somehow. I can say that we all as a group got alot of the question arcross, that means we were able to get the person named John to participate and to understand what questions  were being  asked  of him. Overall It  was very succesful I love   the fab lab espeacially when you get to experince meeting  new people.

Mrs. Shalauh told us about high blood pressure also diabetes and hypertention,stress. Also we learned what not to eat what to eat like choosing boiled eggs instead of scrambled eggs. She took my blood pressure and found that I'm in the 17 range.  I'm normal.  We used my weight also calculated my height in inches. Overall Mrs.shaluah taught me things I can take home and  tell my family and friends.

This symbol represents rain from the ancient aztec culture. Rain was important to them becuase it was necessary for their agriculture and farming. It also related to the environment, which was signficant to the native people.

One of my ideas for nexts weeks fab lab...
I would love to work more at fab lab. I would love to learn more about it and do more and the lab. I would love to be able to work more with the machine's.

Today we learned the purpose of the Fab lab. By using my imagination and with the help of the computer software Adobe Illustrator CS3, I was able to create a name plate. Different tools like the laser printer outlined my idea and with the ShopBot, I was able to cut out the border of the name plate. After finishing this design, I was able to use the vinyl cutter to make a Sponge Bob sticker. Esteban demonstrated how to "weed out" the extra parts of the sticker in order to get the picture out.

This week I went to fab but at first Mr. xavier, Zaira which was my mentor and I was the Mente.
